Steampunk Battle-Dancer Mask

this piece was fun to make, it is mostly leather and brass, with some copper and glass accents. The whole piece was inspired by the musical styling of Beats Antique, and some of ~anbaric05 s photographs.
The tooling on the forehead was inspired by some 12th century Mideastern mosaics i came across on the web.
I sort of imagine it fitting into a toxic desert environment, with Belly dancing battle maidens.
I tried to give the impression of a veil made from leather, it was tougher than I thought, but came out well.
And yes, with the goggles down she does look a bit tuscan raider-esque.
all in all i was happy with the shoot, but at some point the face chains became crossed and hooked on the breather piece, I just didn't notice at the time. They are meant to hang on the cheeks, as seen in the goggles down shot on the lower right.
